DEVIKA MATHUR
Devika Mathur, a Mississauga-based artist & educator teaching with the City of Mississauga, boasts a diverse artistic portfolio, including exhibitions at OCAD University, the Oakville Outdoor Art Fair & recurring appearances at Arts on the Credit. She showcased her talent at various venues, such as Visual Arts Mississauga, Brampton Library, Arts Etobicoke , VASA & Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre. Devika has also been involved in public art projects like painting Bell Boxes, commissioned work from Mississauga Arts Council. Beyond her artistry, she teaches art with the City of Mississauga, Visual Arts Mississauga & the Art Gallery of Mississauga, and with special needs adults from DEEN Support Services.

Art Competition Overview
We are excited to invite the young artists of Medowale community to showcase their
creativity in the "Colors of Tomorrow" Art Competition. This engaging event is designed for
two age groups, fostering a platform for children aged 6 to 12 and teens aged 13 to 17 to
express themselves through various art mediums.

Age Groups: Junior Artists
Junior Artists (Ages 6-12): Let the imagination flow! Young artists can explore their
creativity using any medium of their choice.
Teen Visionaries (Ages 13-17): Unleash your artistic prowess! Teens are
encouraged to express their ideas through diverse art forms.
Prizes and Recognition

Materials Provided
High-quality art paper will be supplied for both groups, ensuring that every participant has a
canvas for their imagination to flourish. Please bring your own materials, paints, brushes,
markers, pastels etc.
Registration
Registration is open online with a nominal fee of $10 per participant. This fee helps support
