Dancer:

Ritu Neb is primarily a Professional Expressive Dance Instructor and runs the Pure Soul Energy Dance Academy. She has been teaching dance for the past 8 years. Ritu has been widely acclaimed for her deep commitment to dance and expressive style. Her forte is Bollywood dance style and she teaches Bollywood dance choreography and gives Bollyfit classes that enables her to develop flexibility and mobility in her students. She believes that dancers put across their artistry through movement.

Ritu and other members of the performance group, have shared their Pure Soul Energy at numerous events such as Taste of India, Carassauga, Vibrant Brampton, Mosaic festival, TD South Asian festival, Bollywood Monster Mashup and more across the GTA. The Dance Academy provides classes to seniors, adults, youth & kids.

Bank of Montreal:

Besides dance, Ritu has previously worked with Bank of Montreal for 12 years as a Web Content Manager.

Elegant Media:

She is the owner and President of Elegant Media Company, Elegant Media is a Graphics and Web Design Company. At Elegant Media they aim to develop high-quality Print and Internet based solutions, by putting all of their dedication, talent and responsibility into customer service. They provide ideas through elegant designs for the Print Graphic Design and Web Design needs.

Co-Author:

Ritu is a co-author in the book, ‘The Power Within – Canadian Small Business Women’, which is about inspiration and changing the narrative of immigrant women world-wide.

Actor:

Moreover, she recently explored her inner acting skills and acted for two films—‘Sree’, Dancing through the season. and ‘A Bloody Mess’. Sree, directed and produced by Mallika Sothinathan of New Horizon Arts Media, is a feature-length documentary about female empowerment through dance in the immigrant community, within North America. Sree was showcased at ONIFF (Ontario International Film Festival.  ‘A Bloody Mess’, directed by Asis Sethi and produced by Flying Away Films Inc., is a movie that aims to educate people on the situation of many South Asian girls and to normalize conversations surrounding menstruation.

Collaboration:

Recently, she collaborated with Amy Barroso, the Founder/Creative Director at United Colours of Design Magazine that connects all creative artists through our shared love of colour. She was a featured artist for the past four editions—Black theme, Copper theme, Red theme and Pink theme.

Events:

She is a Stage Manager, India Pavilion for one of the Largest Multicultural Festival in Ontario – Carassauga, India Pavilion since 2017. She plans, organizes and schedule all the artists and performers on the stage. In 2 days of festival they have around 400 performers who participate from all over GTA.

Volunteer:
In the past she volunteered with Peel Multicultural Society – Ontario Government funded Organization for new Immigrants in teaching English Conversation Classes to new immigrants.

Toastmaster:
Ritu has been a Toastmaster since 2006 and recently achieved her Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award in the year 2020. Toastmasters International Organization is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped people from diverse backgrounds become more confident speakers, communicators, and leaders.

Ritu is leader interested in dance, fitness and women’s issues. She is interested in helping others while bringing a positive style and enthusiasm to any project or working relationship. Ritu likes to meditate, spread positive vibes and volunteers for several organizations that help the people in need. When not dancing, she loves to paint and create free flowing modern art paintings. Whatever your goals are, whether its confidence, exercise, being social or just have some fun… Ritu will take you there!
